Massive Public Enthusiasm Marks Second Day of BJP’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Assam

Morigaon March 1: Jagiroad witnessed a spectacular show of public support today as Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma joined the BJP’s “Jan Ashirwad Yatra” on its second day. The heart of the town turned into a sea of people, with nearly one lakh attendees and a massive bike rally accompanying the procession.
The Chief Minister was welcomed with traditional dances and songs performed by diverse communities, reflecting Assam’s rich cultural heritage. In a unique gesture, flower petals were showered using a JCB machine, while elephants greeted him at Baghjap, adding grandeur to the occasion.
Citizens expressed gratitude for the government’s ongoing drive against illegal infiltrators, underscoring the political undertones of the event. The yatra proceeded from Jagiroad towards Morigaon, passing through Barpujia, Raha, Nagaon, and Puranigudam, before concluding at Bardhamanpur.
With overwhelming participation and vibrant cultural displays, the second day of the Jan Ashirwad Yatra highlighted the BJP’s growing momentum in Assam.
