Health camp for CRPF personnel engaged in poll duty

Diphu April 1: In view of the upcoming Legislative Assembly Elections, a special health check-up camp was organized by the District Health Society, West Karbi Anglong today.
The camps were organized to ensure the physical and mental well-being of CRPF personnel deployed on election duty for maintaining law and order.
The camps were conducted at various locations under Baithalangso, Umpanai, Donkamokam, and Jirikinding Block Primary Health Centers across the district.
Comprehensive health check-ups of the personnel were carried out, including monitoring of blood pressure, blood sugar levels, weight, and other essential health parameters.
Necessary medical samples were also collected. A team of specialist doctors provided health consultations, and medicines were distributed to personnel requiring treatment.
Considering the sensitive and stressful nature of election duties, such initiatives play a crucial role in boosting the morale and ensuring the health security of security forces.
The District Health Society’s commendable effort is expected to help the personnel perform their duties with greater efficiency and confidence.
