District Election Team Gears Up for the Poll with Final Training atHaflong

Haflong, April 4:In preparation for the upcoming Assam Assembly Election 2026, a group
training session for polling personnel was conducted today at Haflong Government College.The
session focused on hands-on familiarization with EVM/VVPAT systems and essential poll
procedures.
The training was graced by Patel Dhaval Kumar KiritiKumar, IAS, General Observer to
the Assam Assembly Election pertaining to 113-Haflong (ST) LAC constituency, who addressed
the gathering and briefed polling personnel on key operational and ethical aspects of election
duty.
Also present on the occasion were Gayatri Devidas Hyalinge, IAS, District
Commissioner and District Election Officer, Dima Hasao, along with Election Officer Burhid
Rabha ACS and others.
Polling personnel from across Dima Hasao district participated in the session, which was
organized in multiple halls to facilitate group learning.
