HILLMAN 51.5 Assam Triathlon 2026 Gets Underway at Charon Beel in Morigaon

Hills Live News,Morigaon, October 11: The HILLMAN 51.5 Assam Triathlon 2026 got underway at the State Canoeing and Kayaking Centre at Charon Beel in Morigaon on Sunday, drawing participation from more than 500 athletes from across the Northeast.

Additional District Commissioner (ADC), Morigaon, Dr. Nilakhi Baishya, flagged off the triathlon race along the banks of Charon Beel, a vast natural water body near Morigaon that previously hosted water sports events during the 33rd National Games.

The event marks a significant sporting occasion for the region, bringing together athletes from across the Northeast and highlighting the potential of Charon Beel as a venue for water sports and other sporting activities.
