Police Take Out March in Morigaon to Mark National Unity Day151st Birth Anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Observed

To mark National Unity Day, observed on the occasion of the 151st birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Morigaon Police organised a colourful march on Friday to spread the message of national unity, integrity, solidarity and peace among the public.
The march was organised under the initiative of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Morigaon. Police officers and personnel, along with Border Security Force (BSF) jawans, participated in the programme.
The march commenced at 1 pm from the Tarun Ram Phookan Playground under the leadership of Morigaon Superintendent of Police Nishant Saurabh. Passing through Gaurav Path and Police Point, the march culminated at the office of the Superintendent of Police, Morigaon.
Officers and personnel of Morigaon Sadar Police Station, along with BSF personnel, participated enthusiastically in the march.
Through the programme, the participants called upon people to uphold the country’s unity and integrity and strengthen the spirit of national solidarity.
The National Unity Day programme also sought to promote brotherhood, mutual cooperation and patriotism in society while creating public awareness about the importance of national unity.
