Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today addressed four election rallies in the hilly districts of Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong, vigorously campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
Speaking at the rallies, Dr. Sarma launched a sharp attack on the opposition alliance, criticizing their policies and alliances. He highlighted the significant development works carried out in the hill districts during the BJP government’s tenure, stating that a “wave of development” has transformed the region.
The Chief Minister urged voters to once again support the BJP to ensure the continuity of the development momentum. He specifically appealed to the people of West Karbi Anglong to elect the party’s candidates – Dr. Tuliram Ronghang from the Rongkhang constituency and Dr. Habe Teron from the Amri constituency – by giving them a decisive victory.”Vote for BJP again so that the flow of development remains uninterrupted in the hill areas,” Dr. Sarma said, calling upon the electorate to strengthen the hands of the BJP government.
