Haflong March 27: A massive public gathering today at Mahur demonstrated overwhelming support for BJP’s 113-Haflong (ST) LAC candidate, Smt. Rupali Langthasa, signaling growing public trust in her leadership.

In a major boost for the party, over 45 members from various political outfits in the Mahur area defected to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), strengthening its foothold in Dima Hasao ahead of the elections.

The event drew top dignitaries, including DHAC Chief Executive Member (CEM) Debolal Gorlosa, Chairman, Mohet Hojai, Executive Member Smt. Probita Johari, Deputy Chairman Ngulminlal Lienthang, BJP candidate Smt. Rupali Langthasa, MAC & BJYM District President Herojit Jidung, MAC DHAC Pronath Rajiyung, Vistarak Dima Hasao Vinod Tiwari, Nominated MAC Ajoy Chakraborty, and BJP Mahur Mandal President Amit Bathari. Senior party leaders, karyakartas, and thousands of supporters also participated enthusiastically.
