Peaceful Polling in Haflong Constituency

Haflong, April 9 – Polling in the 113 (ST) Haflong Legislative Assembly Constituency of Dima Hasao district concluded peacefully, according to District Election Officer Gayatri Devidas Hyalinge.
Speaking to the media, Hyalinge confirmed that voting across all polling stations was conducted smoothly, with adequate security arrangements ensuring a free, fair, and transparent electoral process.
Minor technical glitches were reported in a few locations, but officials promptly addressed them, preventing any major disruption to the polling process.
Although the exact voter turnout figure was yet to be calculated at the time of reporting due to communication delays in remote areas, authorities expect the polling percentage to exceed 75 percent.
