Training Held for Micro Observers in Haflong Ahead of Polls

Haflong, March 27:
A training session for Micro Observers to be deployed at shadow area polling stations was conducted on Friday at the Conference Hall of the Circuit House in Haflong.
The session was led by Nodal Officer of the Micro Observer Cell, Prof. Dinesh Tiwari, who briefed participants on their roles and responsibilities during polling day. Detailed guidance was also provided on accurately filling up the Micro Observer Feedback Form to ensure proper reporting from sensitive locations.
Participants actively engaged in the session, raising queries which were addressed to clarify operational procedures and responsibilities.
Later, Master Trainer Anupam Choudhury conducted a practical demonstration on the sealing procedures and explained the functioning of the Voting Unit, VVPAT, and Control Unit, giving observers hands-on clarity ahead of deployment.
The training concluded with a vote of thanks from the chair, marking the end of the session.
