BJP launches Manifesto for Dima Hasao Ahead of Assam Assembly Elections 2026

Haflong, March 31: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Dima Hasao has officially launched its manifesto for the upcoming Assam Legislative Assembly Elections 2026, outlining a vision focused on inclusive growth, grassroots development, and long-term transformation of the hill district on Tuesday at BJP election office.
The launching programe was attended by Debolal Gorlosa, DHAC CEM and Chairman, Dhriti Thaosen, Convener, Mohet Hojai, Pramukh and Kulendra Daolagupu, Saha Pramukh of Nanifesto Drafting Committee alongside the Candidate Rupali Langthasa and others,
Describing the manifesto as more than a political document, party leaders termed it a “solemn commitment” that binds intent with action and reflects the collective aspirations of the people. The document emphasizes accountability, integrity, and a people-centric approach to governance, positioning it as a roadmap for a “self-sufficient and developed Dima Hasao.”
The manifesto highlights the broader developmental narrative under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, citing significant progress in infrastructure, digital connectivity, and social welfare across the country. It also credits the leadership of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for translating national vision into tangible outcomes within the state, particularly in sectors like road connectivity, healthcare, education, and law and order.
At the district level, the party acknowledged the role of Chief Executive Member Debolal Gorlosa in accelerating development initiatives. The manifesto points to ongoing improvements in rural infrastructure, livelihood generation, and preservation of the region’s socio-cultural heritage as key achievements of the current administration.
Framed in alignment with the broader goal of “Viksit Bharat 2047,” the BJP’s Dima Hasao manifesto places strong emphasis on youth and women empowerment, sustainable development, and inclusive progress across all communities.
Party leaders expressed confidence that the manifesto, shaped by public aspirations and feedback, would resonate with voters. They called for continued public support to carry forward the ongoing development momentum and build a stronger, more prosperous future for Dima Hasao.
