West Karbi Anglong Congress Stages Protest Against CEC Gyanesh Kumar

Hills Live News, Dongkamukam, Sept 28: The West Karbi Anglong District Congress Committee staged a protest demonstration at Dongkamukam in West Karbi Anglong district on Monday, demanding the resignation and arrest of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Congress workers and supporters took part in the protest, raising slogans in support of their demands. As part of the demonstration, the protesters also burnt an effigy of the Chief Election Commissioner.

The protest was organised as part of the Congress party’s wider agitation against Gyanesh Kumar. Party leaders said the demonstration was intended to highlight their grievances and press for action against the Election Commissioner.
