Chief Minister Addresses BJP’s Massive Election Rally for Silchar Municipal Corporation Polls

Hills Live News, Guwahati. September 30: Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma addressed a massive election rally organised by the BJP at the Silchar Police Parade Ground in connection with the Silchar Municipal Corporation elections.
Addressing party workers and supporters, the Chief Minister campaigned in support of the BJP candidates. He said that several development projects were currently underway in Silchar.
He announced that the ‘Barak Drinking Water Project’ would be launched with the objective of providing round-the-clock drinking water supply. The project will be implemented with assistance from the World Bank.
Besides, CCTV cameras will be installed in various parts of Silchar city, he said. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that everyone would work together to ensure the development of Silchar.
Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma appealed to the people and party workers to ensure victory for the BJP in all 40 wards of the Silchar Municipal Corporation.
