Morigaon Reviews SDRF and Rehabilitation Grant Proposals for 2026–27

District Commissioner Srishti Singh, chaired a meeting today to review proposals for approval under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) and Rehabilitation Grant (R.G.) for the financial year 2026–27, relating to damages caused by floods, storms, lightning, fire and landslides in Morigaon district.

The meeting focused on examining the proposals and facilitating the processing of eligible cases in accordance with the prescribed norms and guidelines to ensure appropriate relief and rehabilitation assistance to affected individuals.

The meeting was attended by Nishant Saurabh,, Senior Superintendent of Police, Morigaon; Rakesh Deka, Additional District Commissioner, Morigaon; and other officers and officials of the concerned departments.
