DHAC Delegation Meets Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya to Discuss Dima Hasao Development

Haflong Sept 9 A high-level delegation from Dima Hasao met with the Governor of Assam, Lakshman Prasad Acharya, at Lok Bhavan in Guwahati to discuss key developmental initiatives for the district.
The delegation included Debolal Gorlosa, Chief Executive Member, Dima Hasao Autonomous council,Mohet Hojai, Chairman, the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council, and Dhriti Thaosen, President of the BJP Dima Hasao unit.
During the meeting, the leaders held detailed discussions on a range of welfare schemes, infrastructure expansion, and socio-economic projects aimed at accelerating progress and holistic growth across the hill district. The discussions focused on empowering local communities and improving public services under regional governance frameworks.
Expressing optimism after the interaction, delegation members highlighted their confidence in achieving sustainable development and long-term prosperity for Dima Hasao under the Governor’s guidance.
