Discussion Held on Strengthening Adarsha Vidyalayas in Dima Hasao

Haflong, June 11: A meeting was held in Dima Hasao to discuss the development and strengthening of Adarsha Vidyalayas in the district, with a focus on improving educational infrastructure, enhancing academic standards, and creating better learning opportunities for students.
The meeting was attended by Prof. (Dr.) Nani Gopal Mahanta, Chairman of Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (AVS), Assam, along with Krishna Baruah, Managing Director of AVS Assam. Also present were Haflong MLA Rupali Langthasa Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC) Chairman Mohet Hojai, Executive Member Lalremsiama Darnei, Principal Secretary (T) Partha Sarathi Jahari, and other dignitaries.
During the meeting, participants deliberated on various measures aimed at strengthening the functioning of Adarsha Vidyalayas in Dima Hasao. Discussions focused on upgrading educational facilities, improving the quality of teaching and learning, and ensuring that students have access to better academic and developmental opportunities.
The leaders also reaffirmed their collective commitment to providing quality education and fostering a conducive learning environment for students across the district. They emphasized that sustained efforts, effective coordination, and collaborative initiatives would play a crucial role in shaping a brighter future for the younger generation of Dima Hasao.
