Kheroni Observes 78th Death Anniversary of Ru Semson Sing Ingti

Kheroni in West Karbi Anglong, along with the entire Karbi Anglong district, solemnly observed the 78th death anniversary of Ru Semson Sing Ingti.
Ru Semson Sing Ingti, founder of the Karbi Anglong district and a key figure in the formation of the District Council in 1951, was honored through a daylong program at Kheroni Playground. The event saw participation from distinguished social workers, former Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council’s representatives, Karbi Employees Association (KEA), Karbi Lamet Amei Kheroni branch (KLA) members, and school students.
The program was presided over by prominent social worker Chandra Sing Dera, with former KAAC EM Ren Sing Bey and Kheroni Karbi Lamet Amei President Chandra Sing Bey, along with Lindok Rangsang and Ching Bey, paying floral tributes to the portrait of the late Ru Semson Sing Ingti, lighting a lamp, and offering prayers.
