Morigaon District Commissioner Addresses Press Briefing on Forthcoming Nagaon Lok Sabha Bye-Election

Hills Live News,Morigaon,September9: District Commissioner Smt. Srishti Singh, IAS, today addressed a press briefing with the media fraternity of Morigaon district at the Conference Hall of the Office of the District Commissioner regarding the forthcoming Nagaon Lok Sabha Bye-Election.

During the briefing, the District Commissioner highlighted the importance of responsible and timely dissemination of election-related information and sought the cooperation of the media in creating awareness among voters and ensuring that authentic information reaches the public.

She emphasised that the media has an important role to play in strengthening voter awareness, transparency and public participation throughout the electoral process.

Additional District Commissioner (Election), Shri Rakesh Deka, ACS, and Election Officer, Smt. Gunjana Saikia, ACS, were also present.
