Nutritional Food Baskets Distributed to 19 TB Patients in Morigaon

Hills Live News, Morigaon, October 10 Nutritional food baskets were distributed to 19 TB patients undergoing treatment in Morigaon district with support from TSAT, Jagiroad, as part of the ongoing TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.

The team of representatives from TSAT, Jagiroad, was led by Smt. Dharitri Borgohain. The initiative aims to improve the nutritional status of TB patients, promote treatment adherence and support better treatment outcomes.

On behalf of the District Health Society, Morigaon, Dr. Amar Jyoti Deka, District TB Officer (DTO), Paramesh Sarmah, TB Health Visitor, and Moni Kumar Patar, Senior Treatment Supervisor (STS), along with other staff members, were present during the programme.

The District Health Society, Morigaon, appreciated the continued support of TSAT, Jagiroad, in strengthening nutritional assistance for TB patients. Such collaborative efforts play an important role in supporting patient recovery and advancing the objectives of the nationally important TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan towards a TB-free Morigaon.
