Massive AGP Election Rally at Bhurbandha in Support of Alliance Candidate.AGP President Atul Bora Appeals to People to Vote for Development

Hills Live News, Morigaon, Sept 26: The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) has intensified its election campaign ahead of the by-election to the Nagaon Lok Sabha constituency. As part of the campaign, a massive election rally was organised today at Bhurbandha under the Morigaon Assembly constituency in support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Debashish Sharma, the candidate of the ruling alliance.
The massive rally was organised by the Morigaon District Committee of the AGP at the Bhurbandha Regional Rashmandir premises. AGP president and minister Atul Bora, working president and minister Keshab Mahanta, MP Phani Bhushan Choudhury, several senior leaders of the party and candidate Debashish Sharma attended the rally.
Addressing the gathering, AGP president Atul Bora appealed to the people to come forward and ensure a massive victory for alliance candidate and BJP nominee Debashish Sharma in the by-election to No. 9 Nagaon Lok Sabha constituency, scheduled to be held on October 6, in the interest of development.
Bora said that the Congress and AIUDF have a misconception that members of the religious minority community blindly support them in elections. However, he claimed that this perception would be proved wrong in the present election. He further claimed that members of the minority community in the Nagaon Lok Sabha constituency have openly embraced BJP candidate Debashish Sharma. Therefore, he expressed confidence that Sharma would secure a massive victory in the election and create history.
It may be mentioned that, besides Bhurbandha under the Morigaon Assembly constituency, the AGP’s central leadership also participated today in separate election meetings held in the Jagiroad, Raha and Laharighat Assembly constituency areas.
